The 9th Intenational Olympiad in Informatics was held in Cape Town, South Africa.

The National Compatition
The national compatition was in 19/10/97. 124 students took part in the compatition, 11 out of them got to the finales.

The Problems and Solutions


 The International Compatition The international compatition was held in the week between November 29th and December 5th. About 60 nations took part in the compatition.
